Winnie the Pooh at the Thomaston Opera House is a fun event for every child in the community!  Starring Connor Dunn as the Winnie the Pooh, this delightful romp through Hundred Acre Woods will delight your young theatergoer as Pooh learns to deal with a conflict with Kanga in a very humorous way!

The tickets at $10 are comparable to a movie ticket but children will have a far better time at the theater! While movies are passive entertainment, in theater, especially with a sing a long,  it’s a participatory event!

My children (5th grade and 3rd grade) were with me and laughed and sang along.

David Verdosci leads the sing along and is highly entertaining as he narrates the Winnie the Pooh story as well! Eeyore provides a lot of laughs as the glum donkey and Jonathan Yatco as Owl provides sage advice. Megan Foell portrays the very shy Piglet, and we all root for Piglet!

Every young person on stage gets their time to shine. Special shout out to the costume designer and the set designer. The costumes are exactly what you’d expect for the show and the sets of Hundred Acre Woods are pitch perfect. I thought “inside Rabbit’s house” was particularly well done.
