This Sunday August 30th at Fuessenich Park in Torrington, come celebrate our community as 13 musical acts will perform in a day long music festival called FUSE FEST! Fusefest was conceived by Tracy Walton, the creator and propietor of “On Deck Sound Studio”. Working with Torrington Parks and Recreation department, the Performance Hub and George’s Music Center, this team has created an extraordinary event to celebrate the culmination of summer vacation season.
There will be two stages of musical entertainment; The George’s Music Center Main Stage will showcase bands The Royal Din, The Steve Dunn Band, Eddie Seville, Violent Mae, Jay Roberts and Eran Troy Danner. The On Deck Sound Studio Acoustic Stage will feature singer songwriter performers Nancy Tucker, Frank Critelli, Carrie Johnson, Jeff Przech, Julia Autumn Ford, Krizta Moon and Ian Campell. Singer-songwriter Julia Autumn Ford shared her thoughts this way: “I’m honored to be included in the line-up of the first Fuse Fest. This is exactly what we need to showcase all the talented artists in this area of the state.”
I think it’s important to point out that each of the performers listed above are headliners in their own right. Many of the musicians/bands I’ve personally seen in their own stand alone concerts and without exception, they were exceptional. Now we all have the opportunity to check out ALL of their work in one festival!
Fuse Fest is free with a suggested donation amount of $5.00. This is affordable entertainment and you can STAY ALL DAY!
