Finally there’s a unique project that Karen Rossi studios is working with Torrington Police Athletics League (P.A.L.) called Together We Are Torrington. Children of the Torrington School system will learn to draw their self-portraits through the P.A.L. after school program with artist Karen Rossi. The project will grow into a lifesize mural with the collaged portraits and architectural references of Torrington. Supported in part by the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts, this is a wonderful program.
