Bob DeVito is a member of the WAPJ family of volunteer broadcasters.  From 2006-2009 his program “Footlights and Spotlights” shed a light on the world on arts and culture with an emphasis on cultural events, community theater and show tunes.

In 2012 DeVito was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Now as a cancer survivor he is a tireless advocate for cancer screenings and cancer awareness.

He shares information about upcoming events including the Making Strides walks in Connecticut. There are walks on October 22nd in New London, Bridgeport and Litchfield. and in October 29th in Hartford county and in Waterbury. DeVito will be a featured speaker on October 29th in Waterbury.
