The Northwest Connecticut Arts Council is an essential resource for artists in our community. Their offices are located at 40 Main Street in Torrington but they serve the entire 25 town northwest region of Connecticut. Known for their very popular CultureMix events and Open Studio tours, last year the Council inaugurated the first CultureMAX awards at a ceremony held at Infinity Music Hall in Norfolk.

On February 12 (this Thursday) from 4:30pm to 6:30pm the Council cordially invites current members and prospective members to their first “Member Welcome of the year“.  Are you a member and haven’t renewed the membership yet? This is the opportunity to do so at a time when you can find out how to maximize the membership benefits.  Are you an artist who’s curious as to what the council can do for you?
