As previously reported here on Nutmeg Chatter, a grand opening for the new pottery studio at the Village Center for the Arts was held on Saturday 2/21/2015 and what a grand time it was! Visitors enjoyed all of the festivities at the pottery studio which is located at 1 Church Street, New Milford, CT.
Music filled the air as musicians shared their songs with the appreciative crowd! The musicians throughout the daylong event were Austin Gold, John Fazio, Chris Ellis, Marc Huberman, Bill Petkanas and Missy Alexander, Chuck Cundari and Nancy Janotulo of The Pears, The Blue Yodels and Don Lowe.
The extraordinary volunteers like Vickie Foy, Katie Gardner, Lucy Sowerby, Jenna Coulliard, Deb Sowerby, Sam McCaughan, Tricia Lynch, and many student volunteers all helped each visitor enjoy the process of creating their pottery magic!
