New Milford artist Chris Osborne is an award winning painter, winning the 2007 National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic (NSPCA) Prize, the Classic Car Club of America 2003 Fine Art Award of Excellence, and the Glenmoor Gathering (Ohio) 2007 Best of Show award. Osborne celebrates the classic car culture and combines her portraiture work with her eye for detail and research to create paintings that are unique and beautiful.
Osborne’s work has been exhibited across the country including a solo exhibit at the Kruse Museum in Indiana. Now her painting of Paul Newman and the #33 Bob Sharp Racing Datsun at Lime Rock Park is on display at the new Gallery 25 which is located at 25 Church Street, New Milford. Gallery 25 is a cooperative fine art gallery which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 to 5, or by appointment. Nutmeg Chatter will be shining a focus on this Gallery throughout the upcoming months.
