As a fan of National Recording Artists Lucinda and Michael’s music, I’m extremely happy to share the information that their highly acclaimed, LIVE CD release event No Boundaries 2016  is coming to Woodbury, CT on May 21st at 7pm.  Lucinda and Michael will peform at The Old Town Hall, 5 Mountain Road in Woodbury, CT and tickets are $20 per person, with proceeds benefiting Alzheimer’s Association – CT Chapter. As many readers of Nutmeg Chatter know, Lucinda and Michael have strong roots in Connecticut so even as they tour nationwide (enjoying a considerable fanbase in Nashville) their performances in Connecticut are truly special. This duo recently performed in Torrington twice, once as the opening act for Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ricky Byrd’s inaugural Clean Getaway concert in September 2015 and then launched their No Boundaries CD at the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theater in January.  Read about it HERE in the article Every Opportunity: .

It’s not a surprise to me that this concert in Woodbridge is a benefit concert as Lucinda and Michael are extremely generous with their time and talent. In fact Lucinda and Michael have received five Humanitarian Awards for their musical endeavors performing for people and families affected by or living with HIV and AIDS.

In addition to their full band, Lucinda and Michael will be joined by special guest Clare Costello.  Clare, a New Milford resident, is a young singer-songwriter who has performed at Open Mics throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York City, participated in the It’s Your Time to Shine talent show in Bridgeport and recently played in Dublin, Ireland.  Shifting from quirky tunes on ukulele to deep, brooding tracks on guitar and piano, her original material is both unique and contemporary with a soulful quality.
