Torrington enjoys an emerging and exciting arts and culture community in downtown and the businesses there have joined forces  to create an event every first Friday of each month! The Arts Walk was an idea created by artist Karen Rossi whose studio showcases her popular statues and artistry. The idea is to keep the businesses open during the early evenings of each first Friday to allow pedestrian traffic to discover something new!

Most businesses will be open until 6pm while others like S&S Sweet Treats and VLC Images will be open until 8pm.   Dawn Hill Designs will be open until 6pm and Stepping Stones Studio (sculptor Dennis Bialek) will be open until 7pm.

The map is easy to follow and encompasses locations along Main Street, Water Street and East Main. For more information on past Arts Walks or for upcoming Arts Walks, visit the facebook page
